Adding a USB Camera

Notes

• Requires a plug-and-play camera that works without additional drivers under Linux, Armbian, and other systems with Klipper.
• This tutorial uses Klipper, Crowsnest, and Fluidd as examples; adjust according to your actual environment for other methods.
• For FAST system, please refer to: Camera Connection and Usage

Opening Configuration

Tip

• Camera IDs vary by system; it is recommended to use fixed IDs that do not change.

• In Fluidd, find the configuration file and open crowsnest.conf.

• Find device: and delete the ID configuration after it.

Searching for Camera ID

Tip

• Ensure the camera is connected to the host machine.

• Click on DEVICES at the top, then click VIDEO, and finally click refresh.

• Find path_by_id and copy the line below it.

Adding the ID

• Add the ID and save the configuration.

Enabling the Camera

• Click on settings, select camera, and then click add camera.

• Enter the camera name and click save.

Checking if Enabled

• Return to the dashboard to confirm that the camera feed is displayed.

• If not displayed, restart the system and check again.
