C5 Screen Wiring​

Important Notes
  • Power off the device before connecting the screen to avoid damage.
  • Pay attention to the orientation of the FPC ribbon cable when connecting the screen to prevent damage.

TFT Screen Wiring and Configuration​

  • For resistive touch screens, set the DIP switch to Resi.
  • For capacitive touch screens, set the DIP switch to Cap.

Important Notes​

Configuration Precautions
  • It is recommended to use the mainsail or fluidd web interface for configuration changes.
  • Do not enable web page translation features, as this may prevent the system from starting normally.
  • Do not input Chinese characters or special symbols in configuration files.
  • A system restart is required for configuration changes to take effect.

  • Do not modify any content below the line ######### PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THE FOLLOWING ######### in the configuration file.

Configuration File Modification Methods​

Modifying Configuration After Flashing​

  • For configuration items that only take effect on the first boot, you must use a professional text editor to open and modify the config.txt file located on the removable disk FlyOS-Conf after flashing is complete.

Online Configuration Modification After System Boot​

  • General configuration items can be modified on the system's web configuration page and will take effect after a restart.
  1. Access the device's IP address in a browser, e.g., http://192.168.1.2/

fluidd interface operation: Uncheck "Filter hidden files and folders"

  1. Navigate to the displayed .flyos-config folder and locate the sys-config.conf configuration file.

  1. Edit the sys-config.conf file. This file is a symbolic link to the config.txt file on the removable disk FlyOS-Conf.

  1. Save the file after making changes, then restart the system for the configuration to take effect.
Configuration Format Notes
  • The configuration file format must be key=value. Do not change it to key: value or any other format.
  • Do not add spaces before or after the equals sign.

Screen Configuration​

  • Change the value after screen= to fly-tft-v2-r.
  • Change klipper_screen=0 to klipper_screen=1.
  • Reference configuration after modification:
screen=fly-tft-v2-r
  • Also modify:
klipper_screen=1
