SSH Connection to Host

  • This document applies only to FLY hosts.
  • If you are compiling or flashing firmware, please refer to the network connection tutorial instead of the serial connection tutorial.
  • You can connect to the device via serial port or Wi-Fi.
  • Please prepare MobaXterm_Personal or another SSH terminal tool in advance.
  • Ensure the SD card or M2WE has the corresponding host system flashed.
  • If the host fails to boot normally, remove peripherals such as drivers, limit switches, fans, etc.!!!
  • Finally, connect via network to SSH for convenient firmware compilation!!
  • To compile firmware, refer to the tutorial for connecting the host via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

Installing the System Storage Card

  • Ensure the system card has the corresponding system flashed; otherwise, it will not boot.

Power Supply

  • Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the FLY host to your computer.
  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable supports data transfer!
  • After the system boots, the indicator light will blink rapidly!!
  • Blinking indicates the system has started.

Connecting to Host Computer SSH via Serial Port

  • If the motherboard is properly connected to the computer, you can see the CH340 port by opening the Device Manager
  • Open MobaXterm and set it up as shown below. Select the port previously seen in the Device Manager
  • Please note that Speed(bps)* should be set to 115200
  • If everything is working properly, you will see the boot screen
  • After a short wait, the screen shown below means the system has started

If after waiting a few minutes, the screen appears as shown below without any display, simply press the Enter key several times

  • Please note that if it is the FAST system, you need to enter a username and password, and the password will not be visible as you type

  • FlyOS-FAST default username is root, and the default password is mellow

  • After pressing Enter, the following content will be displayed

  • The appearance of the screen below indicates successful login
  • The FAST system updated the appearance below in version V1.3.0
  • If you need to check the device IP, ensure that the Ethernet cable is connected or the WIFI is properly connected Connect to WIFI
