Klipper Configuration Diagnosis
Feature Overview
- Local Parsing: Paste the content of
printer.cfgfor instant browser-based parsing - Remote Reading: Enter the IP of the host machine to automatically retrieve configuration via Moonraker
- Anomaly Check: Detects missing items, duplicates, value ranges, TMC modes, thermistor configurations, and axis parameters
- Log Diagnosis: Automatically extracts errors after pasting
klippy.log, links them to configurations, and jumps to FAQ - Extended Compatibility: Recognizes common fan, screen, remote extruder, ADXL/LIS2DW/LIS3DH, EDDY, and other configuration sections; unrecognized extended sections will be displayed but will not participate in heuristic configuration checks
- Large Log Optimization: Automatically retains the tail content and MCU version lines from large logs for browser analysis
- Full Log Mode: To trace historical errors, manually select full log analysis before uploading the complete
klippy.log
Features Are Continuously Improving
Current features are still being updated. Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
Notes
- It is recommended to access via PC for a better experience
- All parsing is performed locally in the browser; configuration content will not be uploaded
- Remote reading is a read-only operation and will not modify the host machine's configuration
- Large
klippy.logfiles will be automatically truncated at the tail for display and diagnosis in the browser. For the complete history, view the original log on the host machine - When full log analysis is selected, large logs will be parsed directly in the browser, which may take a significant amount of time for upload and parsing
- Third-party plugin sections such as
[scanner],[idm],[beacon],[BDsensor],[led_effect ...],[AFC...],[power_loss_resume]may contain special syntax. The tool will skip configuration checks for such unknown sections by default; actual validity depends on Klipper's startup log - Motherboard and toolboard models are determined solely by actual pin assignments and MCU chip models in
klippy.log. Uploading onlyprinter.cfgmay not display specific models - Pin analysis results are for reference only; refer to actual wiring and manufacturer manuals
