FLY-D7 Mainboard Introduction

The Mellow Fly-D7 is a high-performance 3D printer mainboard developed by the Fly3D mainboard R&D team of Guangzhou Mellow Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. It supports up to 7 stepper motors.

Important Notes
  1. Firmware Support: This mainboard supports Klipper and Marlin firmware. If using Klipper firmware, it needs to be used with a host computer.
  2. Power Supply Note: The D7 mainboard does not support reverse powering the host computer through its interfaces.

  • Main Control Chip: Uses the STM32F072RBT6 chip based on the 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ architecture, with a main frequency of 48MHz.
  • Communication Bus: Supports CAN bus connection, offering advantages such as stable data transmission, low latency, and reliable connections.
  • Driver Compatibility: Supports various stepper motor drivers including A4988, LV8729, DRV8225, TMC2208/2209/5160, and more.
  • Smart Limit: Onboard DIAG function pins, allowing easy implementation of sensor homing without physical limit switches via jumper caps.
  • Rich Interfaces: Provides various expansion interfaces such as BLTouch (servo and probe) and LCD screens.
  • Flexible Power Supply: Supports 12-24V wide voltage DC input, ensuring stable power supply and eliminating the need for additional step-down modules.
